I took this picture of Dexter over the weekend. I was given this quilt made out of some sort of nasty poly-acrylic fabric and it is headed to the thrift store where someone who does not know and appreciate the value of good cotton quilts will enjoy it more than the closet of my spare bedroom ever will. But first, it was well-loved by a certain kitty of mine. Sorry Dex, its not staying.
it looks like you have nail protectors on Dex's front claws. Do they work? We de-clawed my cat and feel pretty guilty abut it although she would have ruined everything we own by now...
ReplyDeleteThey do work. REALLY well. I can't have him declawed because he's from the SPCA and I cannot imagine what my house would look like if I hadn't used these from the beginning. I just wish I'd known to put them on his back feet too. My leather couch is finished. Luckily, it was a really cheap couch to start with.

ReplyDeleteDex had a ninja phase. Thankfully it seems to be coming to an end but his acrobatic leaps on what he thought was a leather couch disguised as a kitty jungle gym have definitely left it worse for the wear from his back claws.
