I take my Molly McGee with me anywhere and everywhere I can. She has always jumped right up in the rear window of my Saturn and immediate lays down and watches the world go by. I never gave it a thought that this might not be safe until a conversation I had the other day with one of the BF's hunting buddies. He mentioned how many people are killed by their dogs being thrown into the back of their heads. Not to mention the animals that go flying through windshields during high speed collisions.
Well... this didn't sit too well. At all.
So as I prepped for the LOOOOOOOONG trip home I did a little investigative research online to see what I cold find.
Wow.
There are a LOT of options out there. And unfortunately most of them are rather pricey. The model I purchased from
wayfair.com seemed to be the best option, at the best price. At least for the moment.
It worked great! As you can see, Molly is a big fan of her new car seat.
And I no longer have to worry about her safety.
